Furthermore, he conducted his general surgery residency at Lahey Clinic, New York Presbyterian-Cornell, and Saint Vincent’s Hospital (2001-2005). In addition, he completed a clinical colorectal oncology research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (2006) and a colorectal surgery fellowship at Lahey Clinic (2009). Dr. Francone received board certification in general surgery (American Board of Surgery) and colorectal surgery (American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery). Dr. Francone is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS) and fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
